Cultivating Rhode Island’s Legacy Through Timeless Design and Enduring Craftsmanship

James is filled with vision rooted in a deep respect for Rhode Island’s history, landscape, and enduring sense of place. From Roger Williams’ founding ideals of liberty and freedom of conscience, to the Royal Charter granted by King Charles II in 1663, Rhode Island was shaped from the beginning by independence, self-determination, and a distinctive civic identity. That spirit continued through its maritime growth, historic coastal communities, working waterfronts, and the architectural grandeur of the Gilded Age, when Newport became one of America’s defining centers of design, craftsmanship, and cultural ambition.

That inheritance remains visible throughout the state: in its stone walls, Colonial and Federal architecture, Shingle Style estates, historic streets, harbors, and centuries-old relationship with Narragansett Bay. Rhode Island possesses a character unlike anywhere else. James approaches development with honoring that inheritance and carrying it forward.

James studied Business and Psychology at Penn State and earned his law degree from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, bringing a multidisciplinary foundation in commerce, human behavior, law, and real estate to the development process. His experience in commercial and industrial real estate further informs a disciplined approach to investment, execution, and long-term value creation.

Inspired by the Renaissance ideals of beauty, proportion, craftsmanship, and permanence, James believes development should do more than occupy land—it should cultivate it. Each project is conceived to respect the history of its place, preserve the natural character of the land and water, and contribute something timeless to Rhode Island.

His vision is not to recreate the past, but to cultivate Rhode Island’s legacy through enduring craftsmanship and creating places worthy of becoming part of its future heritage.

01

Build Beautifully

Our philosophy is that real estate development should leave land, streets, neighborhoods, and communities more beautiful than we found them.

We believe Rhode Island possesses an extraordinary architectural and cultural inheritance that should inform its future development—from colonial streets and stone walls to harbors, mills, and coastal villages.

02

Honor Rhode Island’s Inheritance

03

Build for Generations

We aim to create buildings that feel rooted in Rhode Island’s land and history, using enduring materials and thoughtful design so they become more beautiful as they age.
